TRIUMPH

Created on Purpose, for a Purpose.

6th - 8th Grade Ministry

Triumph is LCC's middle school ministry. Our goal is for students to experience restoration through Jesus Christ by developing a relationship with Him that is truly their own. In this transitional season of life, we know how important it is for students to build a solid foundation with Jesus from which they can grow.

Through teaching the Bible, worshiping together, enjoying fun community nights, and attending life-changing camps, we believe your student will be able to begin or deepen their relationship with Jesus and with their peers. Can your middle school student join us? We have a space and a place just for them!

Triumph meets during LCC Redding’s regular service times:
Sundays at 9 am & 11 am,  Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

Sunday

We teach through the Bible, book by book, in step with the adult services. Our goal is for students to study as many books of the Bible as possible during their three years in Triumph, giving parents a meaningful chance to continue discipling their students at home.

Triumph has its own worship time, where students can help lead their peers. On the first Sunday of each month, we join the adults for worship so students can see their families and other believers worshiping together and participate in communion.

Through worship, biblical teaching, and Christ-centered community, we seek to help middle schoolers deepen their relationship with the Lord and with one another.

Wednesday

Our Wednesday night services coincide with the adult service. Each week includes biblical teaching, worship led by students and leaders, and small groups for discussion, all specifically directed toward 6th–8th grade students. On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, we focus solely on community. Rally Night is a fun evening filled with games, food, and an emphasis on building a long-lasting community.

Camps

Each year, Triumph puts on two camps: summer camp and winter camp. Camps are an important part of the ministry because they give students the chance to step out of their everyday routines and come together with other students to focus on God. While weekly ministry is crucial and meaningful, camp creates an environment where walls come down in ways they often don’t at home. Students allow the Holy Spirit to work in them differently, and leaders are able to speak into their lives in an even greater way than they can week after week. Camp is something your student won’t want to miss.

Ministry

Ministry in Triumph is built around creating spaces where students can grow in their relationship with Jesus, connect with their peers, and discover what it means to follow Him in their everyday lives. We teach through Scripture, worship together, and build meaningful community so students can develop a strong foundation in their faith. Whether it’s Sunday services, Wednesday nights, community events, or life-changing camps, our desire is for every student to experience the love of Christ in a way that shapes their walk with Him. We believe these years are among the most important in a young person’s life, and we are committed to partnering with families to support and encourage their students as they grow.
