HAVEN

Haven is the young adult ministry of LCC Redding committed to seeing restoration through Jesus Christ in the lives of those 18 to 30 years old. We desire to rally young adults to the Word of God, Mission of Jesus, and Leading of the Holy Spirit, and release them to rally others to the same in their classrooms, workplaces, families, and neighborhoods.

Sunday nights are the primary rallying point for young adults, 18-30 years old. All of the prayer and preparation that goes into this service is dedicated to reaching young adults in order that they might experience restoration through Jesus Christ. This is done in the service through intentional community, musical worship, and engaging teaching from the Bible that is applicable to a young adult’s life. A general Haven evening may range from one and a half, to two hours.

Our After Party is a time designed to help young adults connect with each other beyond the service. Shortly after our evening of worship and teaching we rally in the Lobby for some food, games, and open space to hang out. It is a wonderful time build relationships in a genuine and welcoming environment. Our After Party exists to strengthen community, encourage friendship, and create moments of connection that carry beyond Sunday night.

Throughout the year, Haven offers special events designed to strengthen community and create shared experiences outside of our regular Sunday gatherings. These include Haven Hikes, Havcation (a summer getaway focused on connection and rest), Girls Nights nights, Life Groups, and other seasonal rallying points. Each event is created with the heart of bringing young adults together in meaningful, relational ways beyond the weekly service.
