OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Since 1993 Samaritan’s Purse has collected shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for 220 million children in over 170 countries and territories.

You can pick up an Operation Christmas Child box in the Church Lobby on Sunday November 3rd & 10th to be filled with gift and returned to the church by Sunday, November 17th to be sent out. Please also provide $10 along with the box for shipping.

This can also be done at home with a regular shoebox. See the link below for the at-home step-by-step instructions and gift suggestions.

ANGEL TREE

Incarceration can strain family ties to the breaking point. By providing Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents, Prison Fellowship Angel Tree® allows local congregations to extend the hope of the Gospel to families with loved ones in prison.

On the mornings of Sunday, Novemeber 24th & Sunday, December 1st you can visit the Angel Tree table in the church lobby, in-between services. From there you can talk with the team at the table, select a child (or a few) to shop for the items they requested, then wrap the gift(s) up and return them to the church by December 8th.

NOAH FAMILY

In 2022 the Children’s Rescue Mission began serving the poorest of poor families in Nepal with what they called the Noah Family Gift. For a donation of $250 a family receives: a pair of goats, a pair of chickens, a bag of 6lbs of rice, a jacket for the husband, a shawl for the wife and a piglet to be raised and sold as a means of income for the family.

NORTHSTATE CARE CLINIC

NorthState Care Clinic is a local organization providing a variety of services for people to make informed and empowered choices surrounding their unplanned pregnancy. They have been awarded a grant to purchase a new sonogram machine but are in need of raising $10,000 in order for this to be fully funded. We can serve our community by giving towards this need.

BUILD A CHURCH

Children’s Rescue Mission (CRM) is in need of $10,000 to build a church in a local village in Nepal. In the country of Nepal it is illegal to share about Christ, unless it is on a church property.  As Children’s Rescue Mission travels to local villages throughout the country to rescue children from sex slavery and help families in need it is crucial to have a local church property to work from and share the gospel.

Each year 10,000 to 20,000 children are trafficked from Nepal to India for the purpose of sex slavery. CRM has 160 networks of churches working together to stop this cycle and hope to build another church building in aiding this effort and sharing the Gospel of Jesus to those nearby.
