Hope – Day 5
For thousands of years, humanity and all creation desperately yearned for a Savior who would free us from the impact of sin and death on our souls. We strained under the weight of this burden, dragging along, clinging only to a dwindling hope. But then, one glorious night in Bethlehem, everything changed. Jesus arrived, and He did it as a living, breathing human (mind blown!) On that night, our literal Living Hope had arrived! Our Living Hope walked among us, healed us, died on the cross, and rose again for us. But guess what: He’s still alive. He’s still walking with us, teaching, healing, comforting, carrying our burdens, and filling our souls with eternal worth! What a God! What an amazing, Living Hope!
Prayer
God, thank You that we don’t serve a dead God. Thank You that You died for us – but You rose again! Thank You that You walk with me daily, that You father me daily, and that I can cast all my burdens on You. You are amazing!
