Hope – Day 1

Ever feel frustrated? So does creation. Trapped in bondage? So does creation. Do you thirst for freedom and righteousness? So does creation. Do you “groan” deep from within, longing for the day God rights all of the world’s injustices? If you do, you’re in good company – because so does all of creation! And like all of creation, we know that one day God will restore order, erasing sin from the earth entirely and creating a new heaven and a new earth. Until that day, let’s hold fast to hope and join with creation in praising the Lord!

Prayer

Lord, we know that Your promises are true. When You say You will one day take away every sin and wipe away every tear, we can confidently hope in You, fully knowing You will do what You say. Until that day, as citizens of heaven, help us to walk through this world, shining bright like a light for all to see, trusting and hoping in You.

Call to Action

Today, take a walk outside. God speaks through His creation, so slow down and take the time to listen to His voice. It might be in a cool breeze, a sunrise, or complete silence. Use this opportunity to join with creation in praising the Creator.
