God’s Love

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.”  John 15:9

You know me, oh Lord, You call me by name.

And I thank You.

I am nothing more than a drop in the sea.

A sweet, willing servant I can’t seem to be.

But You know me, oh Lord

And You love me.

My garments get dirty with sin-splattered mud.

I try to stand tall and I fall with a thud.

But You know me, oh Lord

And I thank You.

Your love covers over all I will ever be.

I know your love always will cover over me.

And I thank You.

I thank You.

For You to love me there is no reason or rhyme.

You tell me Your love is here for all time.

How I love You.

My Lord, in Your love I will ever abide.

I pray You will always keep me close to Your side.

So, I praise You.
