The Lord’s Great Love and Compassion for Us!

I love the song “Day One” by Matthew West. No matter what any of us have done—abortion, divorce, ultra-anger issues, ingratitude, lack of self-control, being judgmental, and on and on—the lyrics remind me that I can start over each day with repentance and forgiveness. I can start a new day as God’s child and a new creature in Christ. God’s compassions never fail—they are new every morning. Don’t look back. No matter what! Thank You, Lord! Read the words to this song carefully and feel your heart lift and hope flood through you!
